Founded on May 8, 1863, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers was the first of the now existing labor organizations to champion the rights of railroad workers. The BLE, as the name implies, is at once a fraternal and a labor organization. This site represents the online home of the BLE Western Lines Division, which services over 2,500 Engineers and Trainmen. More »
